Experience

1983-2017: Structural/Mechanical engineer for NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC). Provided design and analysis for various research systems including wind tunnels, flight simulators and ground support equipment. Extensive use of Finite Element software including EAL(Engineering Analysis Language), Patran/MSC Nastran, FEMAP/NEi Nastran, Pro-Engineer Mechanica and Creo Simulate. Proficient in the use of various design codes including AISC Steel Construction Manual, ASME B&PVC Section VIII, Div 1, Div 2, and Div 3, and various other LaRC design manuals.

2000-Present: Owner PBG Engineering. Provided design, analysis and drawings for multiple high pressure systems (3000psi +), DDAM analysis for ship board systems, and various other structural/ mechanical projects.
